Every day is full of opportunities for little ones to play, explore and create in a welcoming, inclusive and imaginative environment. Every visit offers something new to explore and always plenty of time to play, connect and grow. Here's what your children can enjoy as a permanent activities each time you visit:

Creative Corner
Here, children are free to express themselves with a range of materials like paint, chalk, and pens. Whether it’s at an easel, on the floor, or even decorating 3D boxes, the creative possibilities are endless.
They can dress up and dive into imaginary worlds. You won’t find commercial Disney princesses or superhero suits here—instead, we offer open-ended dress-up items like elegant party dresses, beautiful saris, and smart suits. Add in hats, jewellery, slippers, and bags, and children can create their own characters, free from stereotypes and full of imagination.

Story Zones
Snuggle up with your little one on our comfy sofa and enjoy a wide selection of rotating books. We also have puppets and a theatre area where children can create their own magical stories, building language skills and confidence as they go.

Let off steam with our toddler climbing gym—perfect for developing balance and coordination. Plus, we have four adorable Wheely Bugs that children of all ages can scoot around on, helping to build spatial awareness while they play.

Explore textures, sounds and movement in our sensory area. Children can engage in messy play, explore sand and water provocations, or get creative with play dough. It’s all about hands-on discovery and fun.

Our youngest visitors have their own special space on the stage area. Pre-walkers can enjoy a soft ball pit, sensory lights, a baby gym, and soft blocks for knocking over, chewing on and stacking up. It’s a safe, engaging environment for early exploration.

Big imaginations come to life here! Our small world setups might include animal habitats, magical fairy lands, a bustling train set, or outer space adventures. These scenes change regularly to keep little minds inspired.

We source our coffee beans from Perky Blenders, an independent, well-known and award-winning speciality coffee roasters in Leytonstone and our special tea from Bird & Blend, an independent, innovative award-winning tea company from Brighton.
Alongside the classics such as flat white, cappuccino, latte, espresso, and iced coffee, we offer something different for the adventurous ones and a treat for the little ones.

Our menu has a strong Italian influence, thanks to my partner’s roots in Italy — it’s a big part of who we are! We’re working hard to source local, quality ingredients to bring you delicious, freshly made food that’ll entice your taste buds and keep both kids and grown-ups happy. Expect simple, flavourful dishes made with love.

Piadina is an Italian flatbread originating from the Romagna region, near Bologna. It is served with a variety of fillings. One of classic fillings is Parma ham, mozzarella, tomatoes and rocket.
At Pint-Sized Playhouse we offer a variety of fillings that you'll find in our menu, that includes vegetarian and vegan options.

Some of you may already recognise my partner and I from when we’ve come to collect your children’s pre-loved toys — thank you!
We’re committed to sourcing high-quality, sustainable toys for our space. It’s a work in progress, and while we’ve had to include some plastic, especially in the outdoor area, most pieces are pre-loved and chosen with care. Finding great toys that meet our standards takes time, but we’re passionate about creating a thoughtful and engaging environment for your little ones.

What are your opening hours?
Regularly Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5pm and occasionally on weekends (check our Opening Calendar or follow us on Instagram to stay up to date).
Is there a charge?
Yes, 5£ for the first child and 2£ for every additional sibling. 0-6 months and 11+ years old enter for free. Stay as long as you want, there is no time limit on play!
Which age groups are you catering for?
Our primary focus is children under 5, however nobody is too old to play! We have a selection of board games for older children, ask for the secret brochure at the bar!
What kind of food is on offer?
We are currently in the early stages of setting up and are planning to offer a variety of adult and kid friendly light meals, starting with piadinas, toddler tapas, pastries and bar snacks.
Where can we find you?
We are guests of the lovely people at The Ciderhouse E7. Archway 435, Avenue Road, E7 0JN.
Are dogs welcome?
Your furry friends are most welcome! We just ask that they are kept on a leash and owners are extra vigilant with small children around.

Of course we do!
